Bindery Accelerated Training Program

Position Summary:

Our 9-month program is structured to train entry level employees how to become proficient Machine Operators.  Average starting pay is over $17.50 per hour including base pay and production bonuses.  Graduates are ready to move into the top paying positions in the bindery.  No experience needed, but applicants must be used to hard work and be highly motivated, detail oriented, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.  Applicants must also be able to satisfactorily complete a standard intelligence test, a mechanical aptitude test, the employment physical and a drug screen.

Industrial Maintenance Technicians

Position Summary:

We have immediate openings for qualified Industrial Maintenance Technicians with two or more years of industry experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics equipment maintenance, including electrical controls troubleshooting in AC and DC circuits.  The candidate must also have one or more years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and AC inverter and servo drives. Responsibilities include: mechanical troubleshooting, repairing, timing major components of production equipment, repairing pumps, repairing and replacing power transmission components, testing voltages, replacing fuses, making more complicated mechanical and electrical repairs, electrical troubleshooting of complex control wiring circuits using schematic PLCs and ladder diagrams, reading prints, performing other related duties as prescribed by plant service management.  Starting pay dependent on background and experience.

Management Interns

Position Summary:

We are looking for current or recent graduates with degrees in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Software Engineering or Financial or Accounting Management or Business Administration to bring on as management interns with the long term goal of placement in management positions.  Internships are also available for many of these positions.

Press Helpers

Position Summary:

Work on a press production crew and performs tasks and operations to assure a quality product and to meet production schedules; and performs related work as required.  Some responsibilities include coordinating the production schedule with the Press Operator; setting up and operating a stacker/sheeter for the production run; setting a trim box and scale up for each run; keeping paper segregated by type;  and tagging trim boxes according to established procedures.
